Every Tuesday at House of Loom, it’s everything you love about karaoke with the volume turned up. Don’t be afraid to go crazy: bring your own costumes, create your own choreography, bring your back up dancers or just grab some in-house props we’ll have on hand.
With House of Loom’s mission to support the arts, this weekly event is not only for karaoke fans, but also for the local theater industry. We’ll have drink specials for those in the theater industry with our bar hosted by local actor Sara O’Neill. And on the last Tuesday of every month, party hosts Shannon Jaxies and Jenny Pool will pick a local theater or troupe to highlight and raise money for.

While his sets dabble in genres such as witch house, post & proto dubstep, trip hop, downtempo & experimental sounds, his selections transcends categories, relying more on an overall aesthetic or feel: Dense, seductive, esoteric, troubled, contemplative, other-worldly, liberated.

Bushon has been closely aligned to some of Omaha’s most interesting and underground artists, as well as some of Omaha’s most well known indie musicians. Apart from collaborating with a number of bands throughout the years, the past handful of years has seem him on a solo/collaborative project known as FATHR^.
Past collaborators with FATHR^ have included: James Cuato, Dapose (The Faint, Vverevvolf Grehv), Clark Baechle (The Faint, Depressed Buttons), Seth Johnson (Carnal Torpor), Todd Fink (The Faint, Depressed Buttons), Nate Walcott (Bright Eyes/Mystic Valley Band), Jonathan Tvrdik (Back When, Idomeno King), Jacob Thiele (The Faint, Depressed Buttons), Jamie Montes (Flamboyant Gods).
Being one of the partners in Krug Park in Benson, Bushon’s creative outlets have been minimal as of late. Which goes further to make this a special monthly occurrence—one where he steps from behind the bar and into the DJ booth.
